Lindores, at the Braeside of Lindores Farm, enjoyed hosting Scottish Food and Drink experiences during VisitScotland Connect week. The event took place in The Hide, Fife’s own bespoke BBQ hut, that rests on top of Lindores Hill.

Travelers and buyers from eight different countries were welcomed to Fife, to connect with local suppliers such as Luvians wines of St Andrews & Cupar. The event hosted travelers who arrived from The Philippines, Germany, India, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada, Singapore and the USA. In total, 17 buyers from these countries were hosted, ready to spread knowledge of Fife that was curated for them by expert Fife ambassadors at the event.

Throughout the experiences Lindores guests were treated to Chef Harris MacNeil’s menu, wines from Luvians and bespoke whisky tastings from expert Chris Fusaro.

Fife’s abundance of fresh, seasonal and local produce was successful and intelligently showcased by Harris MacNeil, Head of Events Chef at Ballintaggart, as he went through the details of how he sources and prepares the dishes on his much-loved menu. Ingredients included locally sourced homebred lamb and seasonal honeyberries.

Following on from the successful lunch, Perthshire based Charity-run Willowgate Activity Centre created a Highland Games experience to highlight the adventure, exploration and fun that Fife has to offer the world.
