Pittenweem Inn is located in the lovely East Neuk of Fife, a short distance from the town’s harbour, busy fishing fleet and catches of superb shellfish.
The business has gone from strength to strength under chef/owner Brian Murphy, who states that “food is very much what the Pittenweem Inn is all about”
Brian was formerly chef/owner of the award winning Fouters Restaurant in Ayr, and a leading member of the Ayrshire Food Network.
He uses local, fresh seasonal produce to create his menus, with everything cooked to order on the premises.
The Inn serves lunches, high teas and evening meals, accommodating most dietary requirements. Diners who would like something a bit different can be catered for - subject to sufficient notice and the availability of produce.
Customers can eat in the bar area or just pop in for a glass of wine or a freshly roasted Italian coffee. The bar has plenty of choice from draught beers to spirits and fine wines. There are four different eating areas - the lounge, the garden room, the heated outdoor terrace as well as the restaurant.
Brian can also create menus for special occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and private parties, with menus can be customised to suit needs. The rooms have seating capacity for up to 40 / 30 / 20, or there can be full exclusive use of the whole property, for a maximum number of 120 people. The Inn has full disabled access and facilities.
Within a two mile radius there are local accommodation providers, ranging from self catering properties to guest houses and three star hotels.
