Food Photography Day

How to take great food photographs

The Studio,  Buckthorns House, Upper Largo

10am – 3.30pm

Thursday 13th July  2017

This one day course is for those who own a DSLR and want to create simple but stunning food photographs using natural light and plain English!!

Bring your camera as there will be a hands on session

with lots of tips and ideas to help you take better pictures.  

 

10am                   Arrive for coffee

10.30                   Introduction

11 – 12                Basic camera stuff      

  • Explanation of the buttons and diff modes
  • Simple rules of Exposure  Understanding ISO, Aperture & Shutter speed
  • Framing and composing a picture and making the best use of natural light
  • Tips and hints

12 – 1.                               Have  a go at taking images in the studio

1-2pm                                Lunch in the house [ we might photograph it first!]

2-3pm                                Bit more practical work.

3.pm                                   Look at photos on pc and general discussion

3.30pm                              Finish

 

Price   £ 95    Includes coffee on arrival  and a yummy lunch

Max 4 delegates on each day -  places sold on a first come first served basis.
